I think he helped her because she helped him...mind you, little miss selfish wanted to keep it for herself and only after realising she couldn't, she gave it to Tomasz. I guess when Lewis G made her bankrupt he returned the favour....but instead of seeing it as a nice gesture and being appreciative she could only focus on the fact that it wasn't enough.
