In BB5, Jason had a lot of hate from the public and came across grumpy and aggressive. He wasn't too popular in the house most of the time either, but he still made runner-up. But he actually could've been evicted any time past Fight Night.
week 4: delayed eviction from the previous week due to Emma's ejection meaning no noms
week 5: 1 vote away from being nominated and evicted
week 6: 1 vote away from being nominated and evicted
week 7: barely won immunity after being picked to be a boot camp sergeant by Michelle. If they lost the task it would've been him vs Michelle and he would've been evicted. They only needed one more fail to lose the task.
week 8: favourite to be evicted until the Victor/Shell fight was so controversial it caused Victor to catch up to him by a 21% gap between them and then got evicted over Jason by 2% (revealed in Victor's interview)
week 9: favourite to be evicted until Michelle got pissed off with Stuart
I know there's been housemates who've faced eviction much more often but never one so close to it this many times without even being nominated sometimes
