I think it's very telling when newbies arrive. Viewers want to see new dynamics but newbies are more likely to just try and blend in in fear of being nominated...but that's not what we want to see.
The originals have marked their territory and see it as 'their house' and find it hard to accept newbies because they feel they have more right to be there because they have been playing the game longer.
It's the bigger people IMO who just take them in and welcome them and give them a fair crack of the whip...
