EXCLUSIVE Girl fivesome on verge of splitting up as feuds erupt X Cowell in meltdown as vicious flare-ups threaten his ban
X Factor band Hope are on the verge of SPLITTING UP after a string of vicious rows, The People can reveal.

The sexy girl fivesome can't even stand to be in the same room after hurling a series of bitchy insults among each other.

"It's like World War Three," said our source. "It's worse than Spice Girls ever were." The first victim was...

Leah, who threatened to leave after bandmate Charlie Mole blasted her as TOO FAT.

But all the others have been on the receiving end, with...

Charlie branded a SUPERBITCH for her cruel remarks.

Phoebe left sobbing in the toilets after the others BULLIED her.

Raquelle labelled a PRIMA DONNA because of her big ideas.

Emily demeaned as a BARBIE DOLL, only interested in make-up.

The girls have been moved into separate bedrooms after vicious spats.

And the simmering tension is a massive blow to mentor Simon Cowell who wants the group to be the UK's answer to the hit Pussycat Dolls.

"Simon thinks his band could be the next big thing," said our insider. "They are his big hope of winning X Factor and conquering the charts.

"He's furious that they want to throw it all away because of petty squabbles about each other's looks."

Sparks first flared during rehearsals when Sunderland single mum Charlie, 23, fell out with Leah Lauder, 20, claiming she was "fat" and "the wrong look for the band".

Our source said: "Suddenly Charlie lost it, blaming Leah for harming their chances of winning. She said she looked like the odd one out because she was fatter than the rest of them. It was really hurtful to Leah."

After sailing through to the next week, Londoner Leah - one of the competition's strongest vocalists - threatened to walk out.

"It was touch and go," said our source. "Producers spent hours trying to talk them down. There was a lot of shouting and tears.

"Leah eventually agreed to stay but the situation is highly volatile. She and Charlie no longer speak except when necessary in rehearsals.

"The producers have had to split them up so they are sleeping in dif ferent bedrooms. " Fellow bandmates Raquelle Gracie, 20, Phoebe Brown, 16, and Emily Biggs, 17, have been playing peacekeepers but the tension is said to be getting to all of them.

Fellow contestant Leah Chance, 20, of the Chance Sisters, said: "I saw Phoebe crying because she was being left out by the others. They had left her guarding their suitcases while they all went to get food and ignored her request to bring her back something. She hadn't eaten all day and was sobbing so much I got her a sandwich."

She explained: "Emily's the Barbie who is very quiet but spends all her time reapplying her blusher.

"Raquelle is the prima donna who thinks she's the best in the band and deserves to be the lead singer.

"Charlie is the superbitch. She cannot keep her mean thoughts to herself. She tells people exactly what she thinks and can be very cruel."

She claimed Leah Lauder was nicknamed Lamp-post because of her Amazonian build - but our source claims she was also called "fatty"in one row.

Leah, now out of the contest, added: "The girls fought all the time."
