Why does he keep getting nominated while other people dodge getting nominated who have done more annoying things

They all seem to follow eachother like sheep and they use the same tired cop out reason "ohhh Akeem is too competitive" , what is wrong with him being competitive?? it's a game ffs and he's nowhere near as hungry and desperate to win as other housemates .
And clearly they DO all want to win and they'd love the 100k , they can pretend all they want . But if they got to the final and won they wouldn't turn it down
. Atleast Akeem isn't a tool bag about it and he tries to get on with everyone and he happily admits he's competitive .
