Sagittarius


Sagittarius is the ninth sign of the Zodiac and is represented by the centaur archer, half man and half horse. The archer is aiming his arrows to the sky and you aim high with all your goals, however small. You are honest and outspoken with a thirst for knowledge in your quest to find the truth. You need to share this knowledge with others and this makes you a natural teacher. But you also want to share your independence so by teaching others you give them the means to be independent as well. Sagittarius is associated with the hips and thighs so you may have problems in these areas or be accident prone through being over hasty in your movements. With a Sagittarius Sun your need to speak the truth as well as search for it makes you outspoken, but this can also result in you being too blunt and tactless which can hurt others. You cannot lie and always give an honest opinion but luckily your friendly nature softens the effect of this and you are easily forgiven. You don't let setbacks get in your way as you are optimistic and naturally lucky. You are an extrovert and love to be outdoors taking part in physical activities. The restrictions of being confined indoors for too long will make you feel claustrophobic but if this is unavoidable you can ease it by expanding your mind instead. Luckily your need to gain knowledge means you are at home reading and absorbing information. Although you are capable of being a leader you will avoid it because it makes you feel responsible for others and you see this as a restriction on your freedom. You are better acting as a torch-bearer for others to follow. You also avoid the burden of other responsibilities for the same reason. Despite this you set high standards for yourself and expect others to live up to them even if you don't manage to yourself. Although this is naïve and can be seen as hypocritical, you don't mean to be, you just can't help it. You do like to lay down the law but you hate to take orders. You would rather learn through your own experiences so may travel to achieve this and you are also likely to become interested in spirituality as you get older.
