These was a major scientific report out just this week in which scientists suggested an urgent need for more people to become flexitarian in order to combat climate change because the world is within just a couple of decades of tipping over the point where it is too late to turn back. Apparently there are 22 million flexitarians in the UK at the moment, and the word 'flexitarian' is the term used by scientists.

You can be a flexitarian minimus or a flexitarian maximus, depending on how much meat you cut out of your diet.
