So obviously that would of been too gory for a children's story so it was altered .
But when it comes to other stuff I don't think there's any need to make them based on the "modern woman" as they're called Fairy tales for a reason  . They're fiction and it's all make belief . |
I did a whole project in uni about Nursery Rhyme/Fairytale origins and was so shocked at most of them.
Like, Rapunzel was basically a sex slave in that tower.
