They get so lost in that world / that game though, don't they? The way they talk about it is like they're going to be there for months / years longer without whoever leaves. When it's maybe 10 days? People go on holiday for longer and don't sit at the airport upset over how much they'll miss their friends
. I do get it when it's closer to the beginning of the series and it seems like a long slog ahead, losing someone you get on with would be hard at that point, but when it's just over a week...
