Although everyone is entitled to their own opinions, insults of any kind are not pleasant to read. Also, it is a little inconsiderate for Hope to be called names, especially because Emily is your friend. I'm sorry you had to read them... as you are probably aware, people may well think such things - but if you don't want to read it, you shouldn't have to.

As I've said to many people who want a break from TiBB, time does often heal things. I'm sure a little time to cool off would be a good idea, and then you'll be back and can join in the discussion once again.
