Is it the holidays parm? That can make some people feel very lonely... I'm a bit different, I tend to look forward to the New Years.

But yes, a trip to pub/bar would be in order if you were one of my local friends having romance woes. My husband and I are good listeners but we hang around a lot of single folk who are a little bit younger, so there's always some kind of issue going on where the whole group will corral those individuals... (or inform them they are being way too melodramatic
