I think Marc is just a player to be fair...
If Cerys wasn't there, I think he'd even try it on with Katie/Katy? >_< as he said she's really sweet and has hidden depths etc, and kept hugging her/kissing her on the head as far as I recall and claiming she wasn't the horrible person people made out.

Which seemed to make Cerys particularly jealous from her facial expression, which is the only reason I think she might be genuine.

I think possibly Marc just goes for anyone and everyone and can't help himself at the first sign of someone remotely likable, whereas Cerys is perhaps genuine, perhaps not.

Im not sure if she has it in her to lie and fake romance for publicity, since she doesn't seem all that fussed about being in the limelight anyway.
