"An expression of English Nationalism" is exactly the right phrasing and also the most worrying of phrasings. I think it's a completely different situation because we're not looking for independence as a nation because we already had/have that, which has been laid out quite clearly in all of the brexit papers. Although when I say English nationalism, it should be pointed out that 39% in Scotland voted for Brexit, and I bet you a lot them voted Scottish independence too.
