Wolves aren't stupid, it will have known they were helping it which will be another reason for it not to attack. But yeah... Maybe not a good idea to assume it'll be as friendly after warming up and having a good sleep

The article says it's young, about a year old, so it won't be full size yet and probably about the size of a large dog.
