the brexiteers and quite a proportion of the labour party wont vote for a new ref, so i don't know how the figures will add up.

I agree that a simple yes/no is no longer appropriate, and if then the leave option is split into 2 or 3 options, it also splits the vote leaving it free for remain. Re-asking the same question is the only "workable" option at this point even though its stupid, but no other option will be considered fair by the conflicting interests.
