OK, finished this and had forgotten how utterly crap it got in the later series'..how much I ended up disliking Damons character when I liked him most of the way through...when he was just..'good' he was quite crap
Now rewatching the originals, which IMO is miles better than TVD..more 'adult' and less romance storylines generally which I find boring.
Considering watching that 'Legends' when I finish this, but from what I have read that seems to be tween rubbish..like, not even slightly appealing for anyone over 15!
Hope was a ****ing annoying character too, as is Caroline. Alarics OK ish, and the guy Hope was with when she came as a teen into the Originals was ****ing dire too and apparently it focusses on him a lot too :S
