I also don't think this film really did much to assuage my issues with Captain Marvel either, she's still unrelateable and a bit of a personality vacuum and she's far too powerful with no real weaknesses. I was surprised by how little she was in the film but I didn't miss her which is a bit of a worrying sign given that she's likely going to lead the MCU going forward.
