Today is International Volunteer Day. Even if it is not possible for people to take part throughout the next few months, it would be good to be aware of the organisation and know how we can help and make a difference. It is shocking how much we have to offer, and what we can do.

Although a lot of us are busy at school/work, if we gave up just a little time or a little money, you'd be amazed how much that'd be worth! I spent a month in Malawi this summer doing charity work. The experience was mindblowing - I also felt great knowing that I was helping.
We watched a video this morning about what situations are like in 3rd world countries in Africa/Asia, and the pictures were horrifying as well as extremely upsetting. I wouldn't say they shocked me into action as I am quite aware already, but it made me more determined to help!
