It's not sex education, they aren't teaching the kids the ins and outs of scissoring and anal. They are literally just saying 'some kids have same sex parents and that's perfectly normal, some boys like other boys and some girls like other girls etc.

All it is is basically teaching children that non-hetero relationships are normal, it's normalising the idea of them so that the next generation are less likely to attack people on a bus or murder someone because they are gay.
