Making a big deal out of it makes it a big deal, when its not a big deal. Basically. I kind of agree with that, but also agree with the view that more visible LGBT people out there, makes it easier for others, so in that sense celebs and such need to make a big deal out of their sexuality so others know.

I think its different for bisexual people than gay people too. I am bisexual myself and would feel like I was..stepping on gay peoples toes or somthing by making a huge fuss over how I fancy both women and men. I never made a fuss over coming out, I didn't 'come out' in the traditional sense anyway, just randomly invited my girlfriend for dinner with my parents and that was that.

So yeah, am conflicted on the 'celebs should make a big fuss'or 'noone cares' argument. Yeah, these days most people do not really care about someones sexuality, the only ones who do care are the few homophobes who will make a fuss about it. However, those homophobes are also the reason that there should be a bit of a fuss made. To basically drown out their cries and show that more people are comfortable in themselves to be openly gay.

As I said though, as a bi person, I feel that my voice in this is..not needed as it affects actual gay people much much more.
