Oh I just realised I forgot to suggest the solution that I actually use for wired PS4 connection

If running a cable isn't feasible, then those plugs you can buy that send the signal over your electrical wiring are actually not bad at all. Plug one in next to the router, one next to the PS4, couple of ethernet cables, works perfectly [emoji56]. I generally prefer to wire up anything that can be wired up, the connection is always more stable. Only laptops / phones / tablets etc. are wireless.
