RHYDIAN'S ALBUM BATTLE SHOW favourite Rhydian Roberts is ready to do battle with his mentor Dannii Minogue.
If the Welsh singer takes the title in next week’s grand final he could find himself going head-to-head with the Aussie babe in the charts.
Dannii, 36,is said to be working on a new album to be released next year.
And if Rhydian, 24, takes the X Factor crown, he could be battling her in the album charts when he releases his debut. He said: “It would be weird going against her and pretty embarrassing if I finished above her!”
As he prepared for tonight’s semi-final, he said: “I’m worried about being considered the favourite. seeing as I came from a position of complete outsider.”
He added: “When I started this journey I said I’d be happy coming fourth, but not now.
“I’m here to win – there’s no place for fourth anymore.”
* X Factor is on ITV1 tonight at 7.10pm with the results show at 9.25pm.
