Don't make out Im controlling what people type for arguments sake.
Because it's quite contradictory, since Im allowed to say what I like also.
It just seems odd, because the standard format is usually people discussing the topic at hand, then they branch off onto things slightly related.
Whereas with this topic, the first part seems to have been skipped and instead gone straight onto the slightly related issues.
It's the equivalent of someone starting a debate on obesity, then someone posting "I LIKE CHOCOLATE!" then everyone going on about chocolate. It's slightly related, but the topic has been completely ignored.

But you do say things for arguments sake as you knew that your sarcastic comment was going to provoke somebody when we were having a valid debate.
Our debate about the pressure for boys and girls to look good has risen from the topic question and as it leads back to the topic question, we have every right to debate it without having somebody barge in with a sarcastic comment deliberately trying to provoke a response. And don't say you didn't post it for a response because otherwise you'd have said nothing and let us carry on and let the thread carry on running smoothly.
And the "I like chocolate" example is nothing like what we're talking about. The topic has not been ignored atall, we are discussing in more detail aspects of what would make a girl or a boy's life hard and debating certain aspects.
And Shorty, don't apologise, you've done nothing wrong.
