He seems to have spoken up about his sexuality, but based on what he said he just seems more open to the idea rather than being bisexual
Irregardless, good on him for being open and nonchalant about this
no doubt he's seen all the speculation he's gay, which I don't doubt might've discouraged him from speaking up about it
