Pogues to give Leon a run for Xmas No 1
The Pogues will give Leon a run for his money in the hopes of being Xmas Number 1 in Ireland.
The Pogues "Fairytale In New York'" is currently 3rd in the Irish mid-weeks and is getting a lot of air play on Irish Radio at the moment.
Leon is still bookies fave to snatch the number one spot on Friday, but I think it will be head-to-head between him and The Pogues.
Also in the running to be Irish Xmas number 1 are Leona and "Bleeding Love", Shayne Ward and "Breathless" and Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas".
