Agreed, I'm a bigger fan of The Office US than the original version tbqfh. That said, the first season is the weakest, and that's the season that was a near scene for scene remake... It was a better show once it went it's own way.
Though the only evidence anyone needs that remakes are generally a bad idea, is The Inbetweeners US. just... Horrible...
