If you notice sammie way of persuading Tim, you would notice that Tim consider the best interest for the circle.. Not just himself, and thats his weak point that is being taken advantage of by both sammie & ella in the past.
And from what i get, Scholarsquad is dead way before brooke got eliminated..

And from 1 of Brooke's interview, apparently Tim once try to expand the Scholarsquad? Weird that it isnt shown tbh..
