The public vote is very dependant on the edit. Woody had a one dimensional and safe storyline. And his mother saying her listeners support him suggests she has extra influence because of her position.

The reality is most of the catfish in both seasons were useless and without prep and were just put in to be found out. Woody didn't even start with the detective thing until much later, it reminded me of Genelle suddenly finding an interesting in Dan last year. He needed some storyline.
