Mel B has reportedly begged her ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy to attend one of the Spice Girls’ gigs - so that he can get acquainted with his baby daughter.
32-year-old Scary Spice fixed tickets for Eddie, 46, to attend a concert either Detroit, New York, Philadelphia or Washington. A source said: “Mel really wants Angel to have a dad.
“She has been trying hard to encourage Eddie to have a relationship with the girl.”
Eddie dumped Mel last year when she was pregnant. He denied being eight-month-old Angel’s dad but a DNA test proved that he was.
Meanwhile, Mel B is planning a lavish ceremony to renew her wedding vows to to husband Stephen Belafonte in front of friends and family.
After the pair sneaked off to secretly get married in Vegas earlier this year, Mel now has planners arranging an extravagant LA party next April. She told pals what she really, really wants is her mum there and daughter Phoenix Chi, eight, as a bridesmaid.
A pal said: “Mel feels guilty leaving her family out first time round.”
