Scary Spice (or should we say Greedy), put 10,000 pounds in her pocket, intended for sick children.
It seems that Scary Spice has become Scrooge Spice, rejecting the notion of not charging for her performance at the fundraiser event by the “Make a Wish Foundation”, writes News of the World.
Mel, who earned 10 million pounds from the Spice Girls Reunion Tour, only spent a short amount of time at the fundraiser for sick children in the Selfridges store in London.
- All Mel B did was sing a couple of Christmas songs, sign autographs and mingle with the crowd collecting donations in a plastic bucket – said a store worker.
- And for that she pocketed £10,000 that should have gone to needy kids – he added.
The money was intended for letting children fulfil their dreams, like visiting Disneyland, or swimming with dolphins in Florida.
In the end, the singer’s spokesperson said that the money will be paid to Children’s hospitals in America, and that the cheque has already been sent.
