Considering the shows popularity now I could imagine the HBO execs regretted ending this show so soon. Maybe the show being very raw or maybe the Emmys always going for safer options is why the show flew under the radar for so long? Like you say it’s very under appreciated I can’t believe it first aired in 2002 and it’s taken this long for me to discover it
