I don't really see the point in remaking it? Like, whether or not you like it, it's a very a specific thing - Miranda's "real life", and she talks to the camera. The appeal is Miranda herself, not the character she's playing. So why remake it? Why not make a similar show, but without connecting it to Miranda?
I've not seen Bialik in anything else or in interviews, but she seems too wooden for a Miranda role, Miranda is very expressive... but then Sheldon's wife is meant to be a block of wood, so
