Some members didn't have a lot of good to say about her....most people in the assault case thread actually condemned the assault as a domestic abuser is a domestic abuser regardless of sex and status and that is what a lot of people were commenting on. There were a few that discussed her as a person but a lot were more focused on the case and many didn't comment at all so tarring everyone with the same brush is quite a sweeping statement.

People will always feel sadness when someone they feel they know dies - some will have that sadness tinged with guilt for sure but they should not be condemned for voicing their grief.

Your last sentence though is very sadly true, lots more families will have to face the struggles Caroline's family are now facing.
