The earliest I've ever had to regularly get up was 6am to catch the 7.10 bus before we had a car... and that was to arrive at work at 7.40 to open at NINE. But there was only one bus every two hours. Made it extra painful... early mornings, stood waiting for a bus in the rain at 7am, only to sit and do nothing at work for over an hour at the other end. Urgh. Another life. If it wasn't for the school run I'd never be up before 9am any more
