I was never hit but I do remember one lad who was always scruffy and inattentive he was sent out and hit, he came back crying, he was ashamed we saw him cry and it broke my heart  |

Primary 7. David got 3 of the belt of an athletic 40 yr old man for having dirty hands, In front of the class as well.
Worst thing is...David was a slow kid...a friend I protected all the way through school because of that incident. .
I met up with him out of the blue in a pub a couple of years ago and he seems to have had a happy life.
I liked Mr Campbell as well up until then...looking back though he did manage to get a young lad an interview with David Steele on our annual london trip for p7s that year.
I ain't seen that lad since high school.
