True, I think the tech was already at capacity with things like RDR2 and Death Stranding. No matter one's stance on Death Stranding as a game, it being on the bleeding-edge for consoles is undeniable. It's probably the first game where it hasn't just been a case of "wow, that really does look so much like [actor]" ... it just IS Norman Reedus. And things like terrain and weather effects are IMO currently unparalleled.

I wonder how much HD space FFVII is going to need? I rarely buy physical copies but I know RDR2 was 2-disc and the digital download for that was gargantuan. I think it was something like 150gb+ when installed
