I am almost certain Trump will get a second term. Many of the issues with 'the left' are still ongoing, and until such a time as that chills a bit, most countries will have rightwing governments. Too many 'natural lefties' who are pissed off with the current state of things. Ontop of this, Trump is still hugely popular amongst his voters, who were enough to get him in this time, so probably will be next too..
Thats not to say 'the right' don't have their issues of course, just it seems rightwing voters are happy to ignore problems
Where lefties who have been deemed 'cancelled' or 'bigots' for (usually) quite mild opinions that differ somewhat from the herd...tend to remember it and think its a steaming pile of ****e.
(I know right/left in USA is very different to here though, still)
