I think it's because the housemates now know he's been bitching about Jade, therefore are probably thinking that he may have bitched about them. He has a stigma now, which is unlikely to go away. I don't even think his comments made about Jade were that bad. It was a shame Jade kinda announced to the group that he'd been saying those things about her. It would have been better if she moved on and didn't mention it infront of the other housemates.
