I just got round to finishing this fantastic show. I watched it years ago before I left home for university but didn't end up seeing season 2, so it's nice to say I have completed it now (although it's a crime that Donna wasn't in the second season)
It really is such a timeless show. Russell T Davies is a genius talent and I can see how it may have been groundbreaking at the time because it was so unapologetically explicit with its gay themes. Stuart was such a dick but he was a great character and couldn't help but love him, Vince was adorable, and I really liked Nathan's coming-of-age story. Also, Hazel is ICONIC.
Might re-watch Cucumber but I know it will pale in comparison to QaF. Otherwise, I hear the US version is quite good? Anyway, it's made me super-excited for RTD's new gay-themed C4 show.
