I'm not sure what the point if of testing people with mild symptoms who "just want to know", unless it's because they could be back at work if they know they're covid negative. Knowing doesn't change the treatment pathway at all unless syou end up in hospital - at which point you'd be tested anyway.

yes I expect that will be rolled out at some point but for now, its for key workers who have symptoms who THINK they have covid, no wonder there are no slots
