This was my introduction to P!ATD, and at the time, I really did love this album. It was exactly the sound I was vibing with at that age, it was fun to listen to, and my friends also loved it. But as I’ve discovered with most Panic albums, they just get very old, very quickly. This album still has some of my favourite Panic songs of all time on it, especially Hallelujah which is a pure BOP!

I also love the old school, almost crooner sound spun with a modern twist in songs like Death of a Bachelor and Impossible Year, it’s a style that really suits Brendon’s voice and showcases why he really is one of the best male vocalists of our generation.

Now although I would say he is one of the best vocalists from our generation, with the power in his voice and the range that he possesses, he is not the best songwriter and it’s a flaw that lets him down in many of the songs imo. If the actual songs he made were just a little better, he really would be unstoppable.
