I mean, I think we all know for an obvious and absolute fact that the idea of driving a car to test your eyesight is utterly ridiculous and stupid, like something you'd see in a silly lampooning comedy,and you'd chuckle and think how it would never happen...
... And yet, I see multiple people insisting blue in the face that it's a reasonable or normal (or plausible) explanation for Cummings driving to a castle.
