Properly speaking, outside of common decency the Zuck has little incentive to remove anything from Facebook, as under US law they're not liable for extremist material posted there.

Websites which are "editorialized" count as publications, and it would be they themselves (Daily Mail, BuzzFeed, whatever) who would be liable. But on blogging platforms, forums, or social media sites, it always comes down to whoever posted it.

With this in mind, it'd be more in Zuckerberg's interest to keep his hands off, whether or not that's the right thing to do.
