Default Upcoming Big Brother borrows heavily from BBUS and BBCAN

First episode set to air Monday night.

Haven't seen this article posted yet. Article confirms the latest season borrows heavily from BBUS and BBCAN which was already guessed on the boards. Honestly a deal breaker for me - the US and Canada versions are not "Big Brother" but shows which merely shares the title and the concept of a group of people in a house. As a BB fan from the beginning the US and Canadian formats have always been a dud for me. I'm excited to check out the first episode or two in hopes it's not a complete copycat format, but the article has lowered my hopes.

Australia always did the original format so well. The article quotes a producer from the show who did BBUK 5 & 6 and BBAU 2006. I hope this drastic format change isn't a sign to come should another UK network decide to renew the show.

Maybe BB has truly had its day if these changes are necessary.
