Could it be true - could the biggest pop star in the world be about to become a Brummie? Britney Spears has been dating paparazzi photographer Adnan Ghalib, 35, who was raised in Birmingham, since December. The star is said to be so smitten with the snapper that she is considering a move to the Midlands to escape her hectic LA lifestyle.
There is speculation that Britney may even convert to Muslim in order to be accepted by Adnan's parents. A friend of Adnan's told Metro newspaper: "Adnan's mother and father are very religious and go to the mosque every day. They are strict when it comes to their religion and I doubt they would ever accept a non-Muslim into the family."
If the rumours are true, Birmingham locals could spot Britney at H&M in the Bull Ring before the year's out - well, stranger things have happened!
Meanwhile, Britney continued her bizarre behaviour at the weekend by going shopping for a new car wearing her old wedding dress! It's one of two frocks she wore when she married K-Fed in 2005. See the pictures in the photo album, right.
