I agree. She should have known better, and that people would be waiting to push the antisemitism line at the earliest opportunity.
I think it's an overreaction, but I also completely understand why Starmer did it. However, Rachel Reeves praised Nancy Astor, a famed and open anti-semite and she gets to keep her job, although Nancy Astor is well liked by tories, so there's no danger of having anti semitism spread across the papers for her.
