If the message really was just "stop killing black people" you'd be right, but when it devolves to violence in the streets and defacing memorials (I'm sure there's a word for when people use violence and intimidation for political or ideological gains?) and ridiculous calls to defund the police
in the UK, one can't blame people for not wanting to associate with them.
