I agree, the salaries that trained nurses for example are paid are a joke compared to other countries. The US is the most striking example, in California an experienced nurse will be getting 6-figures ($110k average)

. Though that's because they're employed privately/the US insurange model fleecing everyone, so not the best example. Still, several places in Europe it's around 60,000 euros for an experience level where an NHS nurse will be on £30 - 40k. Better paid in Australia, NZ... pretty much every 1st-world country.
