I don’t know what you class as hits but those were all top 15 in both US and U.K.?

She has always been an albums artist (which is far more important than singles, promoting singles often don’t even make the label money it’s usually a cost to plug the album.. Taylor can plug the album without the cost of even needing to promote singles)

I mean I love the Weeknd but he will never have the career close to Taylor, I mean she is one of the biggest sellling acts of all time, her name is going to be up there with The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Madonna in terms of tales in 5 years time. She’s already 200M+ right now she’s Already 4/5 of the way there, and is the second best selling act of the past 30 years. Saying someone as huge as Taylor Swift is not able to get hits is a little off the mark imo. Folklore wasn’t made to create hits either, it’s a quarantine album project with her going indie
All those numbers show me is a gradual decline considering she used to run this ****.

You don’t really believe it’s a quarantine album do you? It’s just an attempt to restore credibility and critical acclaim after her last album fell short in that regard and in terms of awards. Spontaneous Quarantine albums that are suddenly released aren’t released with 683838390 versions of Vinyls,Remixes, Merch and Dildo bundles ready to go just before Billboard changes the rules on them.

I’ll take my quote back. It’s an organic hit, I’ll give her that as it’s actually doing well enough on streaming. It’s not an Organic #1 though, which is what all these versions and remixes are blatantly trying to grab.
