Xmas raising her voice higher and higher when people were in the kitchen so that she could put on a show for them was really trifling. She shouldn't have wagged her finger or clapped her hands aggressively because she knows if Bayleigh or Da'Vonne had initiated that type of body language first it would have been such a different story. I don't think her intention was to rile them up but she MUST understand that you can't have that type of attitude with someone and then expect them not to respond.

Bay literally asked her "why are you pointing your fingers at me?" and "why are you clapping?" yet she kept doing exactly that, saying how she was going to lock her HoH room because she was relaying an earlier conversation with Tyler in which they were already anticipating Bayleigh "losing it". Such conversations had already started to lay the foundations of the narrative which paints Bayleigh as the bully who Christmas needs to hide from.

It was oddly calculated on Christmas' part at times, but Bayleigh handled herself so well and even calmed Da'Vonne down in the process. You can really hear the frustration and the pain in Da'Vonne's cries as she literally just had to be provoked into a situation that she has explicitly requested not to be provoked into. Luckily Dani in particular noticed that Christmas was trying to command the attention of onlookers in the kitchen and backed Da'Vonne up to Cody, Nicole and Ian as a result.
